Why Me!?!
After 9 Years in the Marines with combat deployments to Iraq (2008 and 2009) and Afghanistan (2010), five years of leading teams in the intelligence community, and three years leading teams for a Fortune 100 company, I've learned that, in order to thrive, we have to do hard things. My passion in life is to bring my military, academic, and professional experience to others so we can walk through the battlefield of business together. I’ve spoken to thousands of leaders around the globe, consulted with several Fortune 500 companies, and helped executives and senior leaders change their professional and personal lives.
Over the last five years, I've focused on promoting holistically healthy leadership through my writing, keynotes, consulting, and coaching. I believe that if we push ourselves outside of our comfort zones and into something difficult, we can accomplish anything. But, we have to be willing to do the hard things. We can never quit on the uphill, when it gets tough, or when all we want to do is give up. We have to be radically committed to our commitments and how we show up for ourselves and for the people around us. If we are brave enough, once the storm passes, we will find ourselves better human beings well equipped to take on the next storm.
